According to Article 33 of the Regulations on Work-related Injury Insurance, if an employee with work-related injury has difficulties in self-care and needs nursing, the medical institution that treats the work-related injury shall issue a written certificate, and the employer shall be responsible for nursing. The employer can send someone to take care of it, or ask someone to take care of it, or pay the nursing fee to ask someone to take care of it.

Shandong Province and Zibo City have not clearly stipulated the standards for employers to pay nursing fees, which can be implemented with reference to the provisions on personal injury compensation, that is, determined with reference to the level of local nurses.

4. 1.5 self-care disorder

The scope of self-care mainly includes the following five items:

A) Eating: You can't eat independently at all, and you need to rely on the help of others;

B) Turn over: You can't turn over by yourself;

C) defecation: can't move independently, and needs help from others to defecate;

D) Dressing and washing: you can't dress and wash yourself, and you rely entirely on others' help;

E) Autonomous action: unable to move around autonomously.

Nursing dependence is divided into three levels:

A) complete self-care disorder: life is completely unable to take care of itself, and the above five items need nursing;

B) Most self-care obstacles: most people can't take care of themselves, and three or four of the above five items need nursing;

C) Partial self-care disorder: Some people can't take care of themselves, and one or two of the above five items need nursing.

Regulations on industrial injury insurance

Article 33 If an employee suffers from an accident or occupational disease at work and needs to be suspended from work to receive medical treatment for work-related injuries, the original salary and welfare benefits will remain unchanged during the paid suspension, and the unit where he works will pay him monthly.

The paid shutdown period generally does not exceed 12 months. If the injury is serious or the situation is special, it may be appropriately extended upon confirmation by the Municipal Labor Ability Appraisal Committee with districts, but the extension time shall not exceed 12 months. After assessing the disability level, the injured workers shall stop the original treatment and enjoy the disability treatment in accordance with the relevant provisions of this chapter. Workers with work-related injuries who still need treatment after the expiration of paid shutdown shall continue to enjoy medical treatment for work-related injuries.

Workers with work-related injuries who can't take care of themselves need care during the paid shutdown period, and their units are responsible for it.
