How to collect information by investigating the cultural life of a community?

Although my hometown is Shijiazhuang, I spent most of my summer vacation in Qinhuangdao. (Because I'm going to take part in a training course on mathematical modeling) During the break, we made a survey on the amateur cultural life of social residents, mainly in the West Beach community, on August 9th.

First, the design of social investigation process

The purpose of this survey is to show the amateur cultural life of social residents and bring some enlightenment to the construction of a harmonious society in China. I'm just a student now, and I can't do much, but the "harmonious society" needs you and me to build together, and I'm willing to do my bit! Of course, I'd better study hard now and contribute as much as possible to my country in the future. )

This survey adopts the method of random sampling, that is, it is conducted in different levels of communities, mainly in the West Beach community. When investigating, we should pay attention to look at the problem from different aspects, that is, if divided by age: about 30 years old, about 40 years old, about 50 years old; For example, according to social hierarchy: low, intermediate and advanced; ..... In addition, we also went to the neighborhood committee to learn about the situation.

In order to get a conclusion that is applicable to the general population, we didn't conduct a survey in Yanda community, but went to several communities in Qinhuangdao city. We set off by bike with our student ID cards and notebooks. On the first day, we investigated two or three communities, but the crowd was concentrated in the elderly, and because it was random sampling, the accidental factors were too great to be satisfied. Some communities are too young to be representative; Some communities are family houses, which basically belong to a model and are not very convincing; After comparison and selection, we finally chose the West Beach community as the main investigation object.

The next day, we investigated the middle-aged and elderly people in the West Beach community. Considering that most people under the age of 24 are at school, we are familiar with their lives, so we didn't investigate. In addition, we investigated more occupations, such as grocery store owners, laid-off workers and the rich. In order to draw a general conclusion, I specially went to the neighborhood Committee to listen to the ideas of experienced and thoughtful people, learn from them with an open mind, and, of course, have my own unique opinions.

2. Investigation and analysis

In the investigation, we found that the amateur cultural life of social residents is mainly related to income and age. The following analysis from two aspects.

(1) the relationship between amateur cultural life and income

In the investigation, I found that the quality of amateur cultural life depends largely on income. Therefore, I analyzed my amateur cultural life according to my income. The following is a specific analysis:

The first kind of private entrepreneurs, freelancers, government agencies and institutions, monopoly industries such as swimming, bowling and organizing dance teams are in a state that has nothing to do with amateur cultural life.

The second kind of enterprise employees and self-employed people, limited by economic conditions, are not very rich in amateur cultural life, so they are in a position to think about what to do.

The third category of laid-off workers, single-parent families, low-income households and disabled people are in a state of not even thinking about amateur cultural life in order to meet the most basic survival.

What I want to explain here is that the above two factors do not act on amateur cultural life alone, they complement each other. Specifically, the amateur cultural life of the elderly is rich and colorful as a whole, but it is still related to a specific person's income (specifically, it is related to his own pension and the income of his children). It can be seen that both of them act on amateur cultural life at the same time.

In addition, the amateur cultural life of social residents is not only related to income and age, but also related to other factors, and only the main factors are considered here.

Third, specific countermeasures to solve the existing problems

In the course of this investigation, I personally felt the support of community residents for strengthening spiritual civilization construction, and they also wanted to improve spiritual civilization. The key is economic conditions. A very realistic and profound problem: only when people meet the most basic survival requirements can they do other things. Therefore, I think the key to improving residents' amateur cultural life is to increase income and guide residents to consume healthily. Here are some suggestions to increase their income:

The first category is nouveau riche, tax evasion, money laundering, bribery, using monopoly to seek high profits, unhealthy consumption 1. Whether it is the market or the organization, increase the transparency of enterprises.

2. Constantly improve our market system and put an end to tax evasion, money laundering and other illegal acts in actual implementation. Specific measures can refer to the methods of developed countries, and it is suggested to create your own methods in combination with your own actual situation.

Avoid wasting money on extravagant life and guide them to do more meaningful things, such as donating money to poor children.

The second pursuit of advanced, but it is difficult to put the ideal into action. 1. Commend the advanced and strengthen the guidance of public opinion.

2. Increase policy support.

Third, they are often hidden dangers that affect social stability. 1. Help them establish a correct outlook on life and values.

2. Strengthen skills training. "It is better to teach people to fish than to teach them to fish."

3. Increase investment in education, pay special attention to strengthening the education of children of this group, "nip in the bud". In the long run, it is worthwhile for us to do so.

4. Increase policy support, but don't let them become dependent.

In the above three categories, strengthen the supervision, commendation and guidance of the first category, commend outstanding people at the same time of supervision, create a good atmosphere, and guide them to actively contribute to society; The second type of income is not high, and there are not many savings. If a child is seriously ill or goes to college, it is easy to fall into the third category. At the same time, the third category has the largest number of people, and their amateur cultural life affects the amateur cultural life of the whole society to a great extent. Therefore, the second category is the key. The third category is the easiest to violate the law and discipline, because life is difficult. Therefore, it is necessary for us to help them from the perspective of humanity and maintaining social stability.

In the specific implementation process, we should not only affirm the existing achievements, but also see the shortcomings, correct our mentality and conscientiously implement the principles and policies according to the actual situation. Our productism is unprecedented, and now we are groping in the dark. If our work is not completed seriously, the consequences will be unimaginable.

Fourth, the episode in the investigation.

During the investigation, I met many people whose lives and realms were very different. Although we are still immature, we have a certain ability to distinguish right from wrong, from which we can consciously look on the good side and learn a lot. Two people impressed me:

One is a retired teacher who has only one daughter, but does not live with her. She is looking after her daughter now, because her daughter is a graduate student in Beijing and she is working. Speaking of her daughter, she told me happily and proudly that her daughter had competed with several classmates in Tsinghua, and I think her daughter would be proud of her, too. We have been in contact with her for a short time, but her views and perspectives are admirable. She warned us to learn to study, learn to be a man and learn to rely on ourselves! The more you are in a complex environment, the more you need perseverance, don't go with the flow, don't follow the trend, and have your own opinions. Only in this way can you develop! She is only a primary school teacher, but I admire her for saying such a thing. I admire more than that. She is weak, quiet, supercilious, calm and rational in the face of problems, which makes people awe from the heart. She is now in her fifties, and she has come all the way through thick and thin. She has never experienced the self-righteousness of the world, and she has no negative attitude towards shadow things. Some are just sensible and brave to face life. How can such courage not be admired? At the same time, I keep in mind her teaching: in a complex environment, don't follow the crowd, don't go with the flow, and have your own opinions. Only in this way can we develop!

Because of time, we haven't been in contact for a long time, just a casual encounter, but she has become a treasure in my memory! I will try my best to practice your teaching!

Another person who was impressed was an aunt of the residents' association. My daughter took the senior high school entrance examination this year and was admitted to Qinhuangdao No.1 Middle School. It is said that this is very good. Her husband works in the inspection and quarantine bureau. They never watch TV when her children are doing their homework, and they do their homework when reading books and newspapers. She said that China's parents were so tired that they could give anything. For the middle class, they are most afraid of two things: getting sick and their children going to college. If you catch up with both, it's over! She is realistic and has low expectations for her children. She just wants her children to be better than her. She will support herself with a pension when she is old. Then leave her alone! Very simple, but very practical! But children can only rely on guidance. You can't coach her forever. You can only let her grow up, right?

From their contact, I found that most people who have a better life now have a good habit. There is a saying that Excellence is easier, but truly outstanding people make Excellence a habit! Although they are excellent, they feel there is nothing to show off. Their peace of mind is like Zhuge Liang's book of precepts. That kind of mentality is similar to "intentionally planting flowers, unintentionally planting willows in the shade", perhaps because there is no pressure, doing things with an enjoyable mentality can make you more focused and do better! These are our ancient cultures. If we are good at learning something useful from other things, we will have a powerful weapon.

I will try my best to do this, although it is difficult. I will also remember my grandmother's teaching: The more complicated the environment, the more perseverance is needed. Don't follow others' advice, but have your own opinions. Only in this way can you develop!
