Resume experience

Resume is a very important self-promotion document. The purpose is to win an interview opportunity. To achieve this goal, you must convince the recipient and let the other party know what qualifications you have. You may be competing with hundreds, or even thousands, of applicants, so you must find a way to showcase your talents and instantly grab the attention of your future employer and win by surprise.

In the selection process of recruiters, the resume is the only part that you have full control over. As for the quality of the resume you write, it is directly proportional to the preparation you have done. You'll find that writing a "winning" document requires advice and guidance, but let's first look at a few basic principles:

1. Keep the content brief and concise.

2. Avoid wording that is literal and difficult to understand.

3. Write from the third person point of view (as if describing another person).

This way you can emphasize your accomplishments without appearing to be bragging. This is the most standard recommendation method and can also increase the authority of the content.

4. Don’t just list past responsibilities – emphasize how you achieved results, such as attracting new business, controlling budgets, saving money, introducing new ideas – show what makes you unique different. List your achievements clearly with accurate facts and figures.

For example, "the sales volume increased by 25%" is much better than "the sales volume increased significantly".

5. Use a word processor to create a professional image and design a document format that can be used for the specific application.

6. Use high-quality white paper - the photocopying effect of colored paper is very poor (resumes are often photocopied into many copies and circulated in the company). For the same reason, don't staple your resume into one copy.

7. Use a good printer. If you give a photocopy, the effect should be good. Never make do with this. If necessary, find a printing company.

8. Use bold fonts for parts that need to be emphasized, but do not use too many fonts or italics, as this will distract the other party from the key message.

9. The layout must be attractive and easy to read, including general text and specially framed text.

10. Use strong words to show how you achieved results, for example:

Get creative motivation

Follow through and increase determination

Rebuilding Innovation Management

Beyond Promoting Resolution

11. Limit to two pages at most, and be sure to write the key points on the first page.

12. Fight hard, but don't lie - if you are granted an interview or need to take a test, it can easily be revealed.

Employers are often very discerning about false statements on resumes, so if you cannot justify them in person, they should never appear on your resume. Some organizations will even use a staffing firm hired by your previous employer to filter out scammers and slick touts.
