Introduction to Cuntan Bonded Port?

Chongqing Lianglu Cuntan Bonded Port Area, referred to as "Chongqing Bonded Port Area", is an important part of Chongqing Liangjiang New Area.

On November 12, 2008, the Chongqing Lianglu Cuntan Bonded Port Zone was established with the approval of the State Council’s Guohan No. 2008100. The Chongqing Bonded Port Zone Management Committee and the company were officially established on December 18 of the same year. Chongqing Bonded Port Area is the first bonded port area in inland my country and the only one-area dual-core bonded port area in China with a "water port and airport".

The port area has a planned area of ??8.37 square kilometers and is divided into two parts: the water port functional area and the airport functional area. In accordance with the overall idea of ??"overall planning, step-by-step implementation, and rolling development", the first phase of the project (an area of ??2.67 square kilometers) successfully passed the national acceptance on May 11, 2010, and was closed for operation on August 23 of that year. The second phase of the project (an area of ??5.94 square kilometers) will receive national acceptance at the end of May 2011.

Chongqing Free Trade Port Zone relies on the unique advantages of "one zone with dual functions" and the right to pilot the Liangjiang New Area, and through policy innovation and functional expansion, it gathers international and domestic talent flows, logistics, capital flows, and information flows. It will become an important bonded production and processing base, foreign trade logistics hub, international specialty commodity display and trading center and import and export cargo distribution port radiating to the upper reaches of the Yangtze River, western regions and inland areas.
