The surveying and mapping administrative departments of each county (city) are responsible for managing the surveying and mapping work within their own administrative regions, and their business is under the guidance of the Municipal Planning Bureau.

Surveying and mapping units shall not stamp the results of surveying and mapping projects of other units, shall not accept affiliations from other units or individuals without surveying and mapping qualification certificates, and shall not allow them to engage in surveying and mapping activities in the name of the unit.
