Jingjiang police responded that on August 7, the police of Chengdong Police Station of Jingjiang Public Security Bureau took plain clothes to the Golden Roman Bathroom in the new district to investigate prostitution according to the requirements of the bureau's cross-investigation of pornography, gambling, drugs and prostitution. The staff in the bathroom immediately reported a false alarm to the new district police station, saying that someone was fighting in the bathroom and creating chaos at the scene. In the chaos, the police in the new district police station simply handled the police by fighting disputes without knowing the real situation, which triggered disputes between individual auxiliary police officers in the two police stations. In the incident, an auxiliary police officer was slightly injured.

After the incident, Jingjiang public security organs quickly arrested two suspects and several illegal suspects who were suspected of introducing and allowing others to engage in prostitution in the bathroom.
