1994: The training project (overseas development management) funded by the British government began to train land management cadres of the State Bureau of Land Management in China.

1996: RICS conducted the final interview for the first professional competence evaluation of quantity measurement in Shanghai. In the same year, RICS Shanghai Group was established.
