2. For the connection between the water pump and the water supply pipe, the soft joint must be the main part, and the contact part between the pipe and the wall should have elastic support, especially the wall-penetrating pipe, and elastic pads must be installed;

3. In addition, you need to dig down the cement base, which will help the pump base and foundation to be connected with shock absorbers;

4. In order to prevent vibration and sound transmission and improve the vibration isolation effect, the pump base must be isolated again.

To sum up, it is suggested that the water pump disturb the people and find a property solution first. If the noise is really high, then we should find a third-party noise reduction company to deal with it. If the property is not handled, you can complain to the Environmental Protection Bureau.

The competent departments of public security, transportation, railways, civil aviation and harbour superintendency administration at all levels shall, according to their respective functions and duties, supervise and manage the prevention and control of noise pollution in transportation and social life.

Article 288 of the Civil Code of People's Republic of China (PRC)

The neighboring right holders of real estate shall correctly handle the neighboring relationship in accordance with the principles of favorable production, convenient life, solidarity and mutual assistance, and fairness and reasonableness.
