What is it that idling always trips?

The causes of this situation are overload, short circuit, line aging leakage, instantaneous overvoltage, excessive ambient temperature, joint problems and open circuit problems.

1, overload is one of the most common reasons for tripping. The air switch will trip when the load in the circuit exceeds the rated current of the air switch. The reason of overload may be that the power of electrical equipment is too large, or there are too many electrical equipment in the circuit, resulting in the total current exceeding the rated current of the air switch.

2, short circuit refers to the direct contact between two or more conductors in the circuit, resulting in excessive current, which leads to idle tripping. Short circuit may be caused by aging, wire damage or internal fault of electrical equipment.

3, line aging leakage, when the line aging or damage, may cause the zero line and live wire are charged, resulting in automatic tripping of the leakage protector. You can check whether the empty reset button is protruding. If it is protruding, it means that the line is leaking.

4. Instantaneous overvoltage refers to the sudden high voltage in the circuit, which causes the air switch to trip. It is caused by lightning strike, power grid fault or electromagnetic interference caused by electrical equipment switch.

5. The ambient temperature is too high. When the ambient temperature is too high, the internal temperature of the air switch rises and exceeds its rated temperature, resulting in tripping.

6, joint problem, the load joint is not installed firmly, or the electrical plug is wet, which leads to short circuit and no-load trip. It is caused by improper wiring of electrical appliances or dry plugs.

7. If all the above problems are eliminated, the air gap itself has quality problems or damage and needs to be replaced with new ones.
