In terms of claims, the Notice pointed out that insurance institutions should formulate operating procedures for claims that fully protect the rights and interests of the insured, and compile Notes on Quality Insurance of Residential Projects, which should specify the insurance liability, scope, time limit and claim application process.

During the insurance period, if the owner thinks that there are quality defects in the project, he may lodge a claim with the insurance institution or the professional service institution such as the property service enterprise entrusted by the insurance institution. An insurance institution shall establish a convenient claim settlement process, accept the owner's claim settlement application, and organize on-site survey and maintenance.

For the insured, the insurance institution shall perform the obligation of compensation within ten days from the date of reaching a compensation agreement with the insured. For those who do not belong to the insurance liability, the insurance institution shall issue a notice of no compensation to the owner within three days from the date of approval, and explain the reasons.
