Do ordinary people have to pay for repairing rural roads?

If the road to be repaired in the village hardens, the villagers in the village should participate in the construction by means of "raising funds and investing in labor", such as building roads in the village. For the villagers to raise funds and labor, only the hard pavement foundation in the village will be laid, and the hardened pavement will be funded by the government.

Generally speaking, villagers raise funds first. If they can't produce labor, they will give some money instead of labor, that is, raise funds. At present, the greening and road maintenance of urban residential areas are implemented by the property fees paid by the owners of residential areas. This village is equivalent to the residential area of a city. In order to better build its own region, it should also have funds to pay and make effective contributions.

In the original plan of the transportation department, road construction was mainly carried out by the villagers themselves (called fund-raising and labor fund-raising). It is said that several former highway managers encouraged farmers to build their own roads. The main content of financial incentive and compensation policy is that farmers decide to build their own roads. The villagers decided to invest 50% of the highway cost as a kind of help. It is said that farmers have helped road owners to formulate several policies. Some misunderstandings clearly show that roads are wrong for road owners and farmers are arbitrarily accused.

The villagers held a democratic discussion on the current village form of road construction. The procedure has been audited by the county government, and the villagers in the village are responsible for the hardening of the pavement (asphalt or cement) by themselves (fund management). Corruption proves the good intention of this policy.
