Shaanxi Zhongxin, formerly known as Shanghai Pudong Team, was founded in 1995. Cosco Land gathered five major shareholders (Cosco Bay City, Huili Group, Huili Floor, Huili Building Materials and Hainan Boao Holdings Co., Ltd.) to acquire Pudong Football Club for 30 million yuan. After the change, Shanghai COSCO Huili Football Club will be managed and led by Shanghai Sports Commission and Shanghai Football Association, while the club will be managed and led by China Football Association and Shanghai Football Association. On February 27th, 2007, Shaanxi Baorong Chanba Football Club was officially unveiled in xi 'an.
