Disputes caused by suppressing floor heating pipes

Suppression is not only to check whether the installed floor heating system leaks, but more importantly, to hang up the straps to complete the later decoration project. If the pressure of the pressure gauge drops suddenly in the later decoration project, it means that there is water leakage. Stop working immediately and find out the reason. In this case, it is suggested to locate the water leakage point first and knock on the ground within a small range of the water leakage point. If it is peRT floor heating pipe, it can be welded, but if it is PE pipe or PEX pipe, it can't be welded. We can remedy it in other ways. The common method is to disconnect the pipeline at the water leakage point and then connect it with "aluminum-plastic pipe joint". The aluminum-plastic pipe joint is shown in the figure.

There are hidden dangers in this method. If the connection is not good, it may leak water after a few years, or the metal corrosion may leak water, so the joint must be brass.

Another method is to apply a leak-proof layer with a leak-proof adhesive and fix it by winding. This method is highly technical, but it is as reliable as the original pipeline after completion.
