Smell-proof tips for range hoods

1. If the smoke exhaust pipe and public flue of the range hood are not well sealed, it will lead to odor when the bathroom of the range hood is opened.

Solution: If the hood pipe is located under the ceiling, it is recommended to wrap it tightly with transparent tape or seal the gap with glass glue. If the hood pipe is located above the ceiling, take a small piece from the integrated ceiling and seal it with glass glue. If you buckle the ceiling, first remove a part of the ceiling and then stick it on.

2. The exhaust check valve of the range hood is two semicircular movable baffles, which are closed when the exhaust is started and stopped. However, if it is not cleaned for a long time, the grease will accumulate more and more, resulting in the baffle not being able to open and close flexibly and the oil fume not being discharged.

Solution: Remove the check valve of the range hood and clean it, or replace it again.

3. If the exhaust hoses on both sides of the range hood are not tightly connected, or even fall off or break, it will lead to the odor of the range hood.

Solution: Replace the exhaust hose directly or remove and reinstall the exhaust hose.

4. Unauthorized removal and modification of flue leads to indoor cracking, blockage, smoke string, poor smoke exhaust, blocked smoke and odor. This is also the main reason for the problem of the exhaust pipe in the bathroom.

Solution: This reason is difficult to solve. It is recommended to find a property and ask professionals to handle it.
