In seven months, Yu Guoqiang not only passed the physical examination, but also won the title of national second-class athlete.

After entering the university, he studied sports health, but from the first day he chose this major, Yu Guoqiang was not very optimistic. He taught himself literature and history first, then law, and took the law self-study exam. When he was a monitor in the university, he was famous for bringing the worst class in the whole school into an advanced class. When he graduated, he won many honors, including three excellent students and excellent graduates.

After graduation, he was assigned to teach in Changsha Yali Middle School as a coach, trained with the track and field team and won the national first-class track and field referee. I have taught in Yali Middle School for four years, both in junior high school and senior high school, and I also made a guest appearance at Jiaotong University for one year in law. 4. Acting for the case of power supply contract dispute between Changsha Electric Power Bureau and Changsha Mining Group.

There is a contract relationship between Changsha Electric Power Bureau and Changsha Mining Group, and the mining group has been in arrears with the electric power bureau since the 1980s. Due to the problems in the operation of the electricity bill settlement of the electric power bureau, the arrears of electricity bills have become a confused account for more than 20 years. After the lawsuit was won, in the process of execution, the client Changsha Electric Power Bureau made a private settlement with the other party, without consulting Yu Guoqiang beforehand or informing him afterwards. Later, there was a dispute between the two parties when settling the agency fee, and the two parties filed a lawsuit in court. A year later, the director retired and was replaced by a deputy director named Wan, who was in charge of lawyer work. Changsha Electric Power Bureau once again complained to Yu Guoqiang. The Hunan Lawyers Association cancelled Yu Guoqiang's membership this time, but the Justice Department failed to revoke Yu Guoqiang's lawyer's practice license, and Yu Guoqiang became the only lawyer in the country with a lawyer's practice license but no membership. During his time as a lawyer, Yu Guoqiang insisted on free consultation. For more than a decade, he has exempted hundreds of thousands of consulting fees, provided free rights protection services for migrant workers, and exempted hundreds of thousands of lawyer fees for migrant workers. His team of lawyers serving migrant workers has also been awarded the "Advanced Collective for Serving Migrant Workers" by Hunan Lawyers Association.

Yu Guoqiang pays attention to people's livelihood and is enthusiastic about public welfare. He is the honorary dean of Zifu Township Nursing Home in Ningxiang County, and has donated and raised more than 400,000 yuan for the nursing home.
