How to escape and save yourself in case of fire

1. In case of fire, be sure to keep calm. If the fire is not big, it is recommended to put it out immediately.

In case of fire, you should escape against the wind. When you escape, you should close the doors and windows on the passage to prevent the smoke from spreading. If the fire is on your own floor, you should escape from downstairs.

Cover your nose and mouth with a wet towel when you escape. If you have time, you can also change into a wet quilt or wet clothes. When you encounter a smoke area when you escape, you must crawl forward to avoid inhaling smoke.

4. If the escape route is blocked by fire, you can tear the sheets, quilts or curtains into strips, twist them into ropes, tie them to the window bars, and hold the ropes tightly and slide down. You'd better have rope at home.

If the fire is too big to escape, look for shelter, preferably a place with water, such as the bathroom, close the doors and windows, and block the gaps between the doors and windows with wet quilts and wet towels to prevent smoke from invading.
