Standard for collecting property fees for vacant houses

Different regions have different standards for charging property fees for vacant houses. 1. In some provinces and cities such as Wuhan and Jiangsu, vacant properties that have been unoccupied for a long time (for more than six months in a row) after the owners move in shall be put on record in writing to the property service enterprises, and 70% to 90% of the stipulated or agreed service standards shall be paid. The specific proportion shall be formulated by the local price and real estate management department. 2. If the property has been delivered to the owner, the property fee will be charged from the month after the property is delivered to the owner. But the vehicle management fee should be paid in full. For the property and parking space that has not been occupied or used for more than one month, the owner shall submit a written application to the property service enterprise in advance, and after confirmation, pay the management fees such as motor vehicle parking service fees or parking space utilities, sanitation fees, etc. according to the prescribed standard of 70%. 3. However, at present, Jiangsu Province has abolished the provision of 70% of the property fee for vacant houses. Instead, the owner and the property company negotiate to decide how to collect the property fee for vacant houses.
