Is it legal for the property to set up roadblocks in the community?

The owners' committee and the property company have signed an agreement, and the authorization of the owners' committee is also very important.

It is illegal for property to occupy fire exits and set up roadblocks without permission. The property must set fire exits in the residential area according to the requirements of fire fighting buildings, so that fire engines can enter the residential area at any time. Roads over 4m wide should be fire exits, and circular roads are the best. No one may illegally occupy the fire escape.

Legal basis: Article 28 of the Fire Prevention Law of People's Republic of China (PRC), no unit or individual may damage, misappropriate or dismantle or stop fire control facilities and equipment without authorization, bury, occupy or block fire hydrants or occupy fire prevention spaces, occupy, block or close evacuation passages, fire exits and fire truck passages. Doors and windows in crowded places shall not be equipped with obstacles that affect escape and fire fighting and rescue.
