Former residence of Gao Kening

Gao Kening's former residence was purchased from a native Portuguese, Chili Hasso, in 19 16. It is located atNo. 165, Shuikeng Wei Street, Macau, and was later demolished into a mansion combining Chinese and western styles. Clark gable, a famous movie star, was entertained and lived in a room on the second floor when the American Fox Film Company went to Macau to shoot location. At present, his former residence is one of the protected cultural relics in Macao, but it is not open to the public.

Another famous property in Gao Kening is Decheng Pawnshop on Xinma Road. Decheng Pawnshop was built in 19 17, with the traditional pawnshop environment in China as the background. Decheng has been closed for a long time, but in order to preserve Macao's unique history and culture, the Cultural Bureau of the Macao SAR Government reached an agreement with the owners to carry out the overall transformation of Decheng, changing the tower and underground into a pawnshop exhibition hall and cultural center, and the Jinyong Library upstairs for the public to visit.

In addition, there is a street named "Gao Kening Gentleman Street" in Macau as a memorial, which is one of the few streets named after Chinese in Macau.

Later, he donated a school to the Tung Wah Group of Hospitals in Hong Kong, named Gao Kening Memorial Primary School of the Tung Wah Group of Hospitals, located in Li Yao Village, Lijingshan, Kwai Tsing District, Hong Kong.
