Tracing back to history, the only municipal vocational college in Wuxi is both old and young. In 2004, Wuxi Cadre School, Wuxi Staff University, Wuxi Light Industry Vocational College, Wuxi Urban Construction Vocational College and Jiangnan College Tourism and Economics Branch merged to form Wuxi City Vocational and Technical College. In 20 13, it merged with Wuxi Normal University to form a school with a long history of 100 years, and achieved leap-forward development.
