Why is Korla called Bayinguoleng?

Korla is called Bayinguoleng because it is the seat of the government of Bayinguoleng Mongolian Autonomous Prefecture. Bayinguoleng Mongolian Autonomous Prefecture is an autonomous prefecture in China, and its name comes from Bayinguoleng Mongolian Autonomous Prefecture and Bayinguoleng Township in Jingxian County. Turku people live in the eastern part of this area, and the residents here are mainly descendants of herders of the old Turku League in Lu Nan led by the hero Walbasekhan. Therefore, as the seat of Bayinguoleng Mongolian Autonomous Prefecture government, Korla is called Bayinguoleng.
