The Music College of Jiangxi Normal University has more than 20,000 square meters of music teaching building, hundreds of pianos, digital piano classrooms, midi music studio and the largest multifunctional studio in the province. Jiangxi University Student Art Troupe is affiliated to our college, and consists of symphony orchestra, national orchestra, porcelain orchestra, dance troupe, chorus, drama performance troupe, light music orchestra and keyboard orchestra.

University honor

Since 2006, the Symphony Orchestra and the National Orchestra of our college have successively undertaken eight activities of "Elegant Art Entering the Campus" organized by the Ministry of Education, the Ministry of Culture and the Ministry of Finance, which have covered nearly 100 universities and key middle schools in Jiangxi Province and won wide acclaim. The Porcelain Orchestra participated in the China Red Song Festival, the Russian Year in China, the special music project of CCTV and overseas exchange performances held in the Great Hall of the People, and many teachers participated in the international music festival.

In 2009, China Orchestra and Dance Troupe participated in the performance of CCTV's Mid-Autumn Festival "Yichun Moon and China Love". A large-scale folk song "Ganpo Ballad" was performed at the National Grand Theatre. On behalf of Jiangxi Province, the Choir of our college participated in the 14th National Young Singer Competition of CCTV, the 8th and 9th China Music Golden Bell Awards Chorus Competition, and CCTV's "Patriotic Songs Everyone Singing" performance evening, all of which achieved excellent results.
