1. Precautions for cement transportation: The cement used for general home decoration is measured in tons. Transportation is a big problem, which not only requires transportation costs, but also can easily lead to cement lumps and other problems when it arrives.

2. Precautions for cement entering the site After the cement enters the site, the deliveryman shall hand over the list of each batch of cement to the home improvement project manager, indicating the manufacturer's name, cement variety, quantity and manufacturer's test instructions, and confirm that the batch of cement meets the requirements of standards and specifications in all aspects through test analysis.

In addition, each batch of cement entering the site shall be sampled and inspected according to the test procedures, and the results shall be reported to the supervision engineer for approval. Unqualified cement shall not be used.

3. Precautions for cement storage: A warehouse with sufficient capacity, complete dryness, good ventilation, weatherproof and moistureproof should be set up in an appropriate place to store cement. The cement crib should be at least 200mm away from the surrounding walls, and a passage with a width of not less than 700mm should be left between the cribs; Bulk cement should be stored in special tanks. When stored, the ground and the inside of the external wall should be moistureproof.

4. Precautions for Cement Use Cement should be used as soon as possible after it is transported to the construction site. If the cement deteriorates or cannot be used due to moisture or other reasons, it should be transported away from the construction site.

Cement should not be stored for a long time. Cement more than three months old must be retested to determine its quality.

5. Treatment of Cement Hardened by Moisture; Cement hardened by moisture will reduce or even lose its original strength. Therefore, it is stipulated in the specification that cement that has been shipped for more than 3 months should be re-inspected and used according to the inspection results.

Cement caked or hardened by moisture must be screened before use. The screened aggregates are generally used for masonry mortar or plastering mortar in secondary projects after rubbing or grinding.

For cement blocks that can be pulverized by one touch or one pinch, the strength grade can be appropriately reduced.
