Husband and wife take refuge and settle down, which means that the husband and wife who take refuge are not restricted by occupation, age, marriage age, talent agency, talent reserve institution, fixed residence and household registration category (except for collective households of indirect employers such as talent dispatching units and revoked enterprise units), and can take refuge in the household registration and move in and settle down.

Children need the following conditions to settle down:

1. Unmarried children can choose to take refuge with their parents and move to settle down with them, but if they have reached the legal age for marriage, they must provide the unmarried certificate issued by the civil affairs department or village neighborhood Committee where they are registered.

Article 13

A citizen who moves shall, within three days in the city and ten days in the countryside from the date of arrival at his place of residence, report to the household registration authority for registration of moving, and submit a certificate of moving.

Citizens who have no migration documents shall report to the household registration authority where they move in with the following documents:

(a) demobilized soldiers, the county and city military service organs or military service organs at or above the regimental level issued documents;

(2) Overseas Chinese and returned students shall show their passports or entry certificates of the People's Republic of China;

(3) A person released by a people's court, a people's procuratorate or a public security organ shall issue a certificate from the releasing organ.
