How to complain about elevator advertisements

Legal analysis: Generally, advertisements on elevators in residential areas are undertaken by property companies, which means that any company that wants to advertise in our residential areas must obtain permission from the property. If you think these advertisements are not particularly good, you can complain directly to your property management company.

Under normal circumstances, these public places leading to the elevator are actually shared by the owners of the community, so as long as the owners are not allowed to advertise, there is nothing the community can do. In addition, the income generated by these advertisements is actually owned by the owners.

Legal basis: Article 54 of the Regulations on Property Management in People's Republic of China (PRC) stipulates that those who use the parts and facilities of the property to conduct business shall go through relevant procedures in accordance with the provisions after obtaining the consent of the relevant owners, owners' congress and property service enterprises. Owners' income should be mainly used to supplement special maintenance funds, and can also be used according to the decision of the owners' congress.
