How to check the cause of water leakage at home

Analysis of possible water leakage points is as follows:

1. Waterproofing: The owner doesn't bathe in this bathroom, and there is no water falling on the ground, so it is judged that there is no problem with waterproofing.

2. Sheung Shui: Usually the owner is not at home, and the main tap water valve is open. I learned from the owner downstairs that water leakage is sporadic, sometimes serious, and sometimes not leaking. It can be judged that there is no problem with the tap water pipeline. If the tap water leaks, it should always drain evenly. For further confirmation, the tap water pipeline was tested, and there was no pressure drop at 1 hour. So as to judge that there is no problem with the tap water pipeline.

3. Floor heating: Because it is summer, not heating season, there is no pressure, and there is no possibility of water leakage in the pipeline.

4. Drainage: The main drainage pipeline was guaranteed during the renovation. When taking a bath upstairs, a lot of water enters the main drainage pipe through the floor drain. If there is a water leakage point in the main drainage pipe of 10 floor, it will flow under the waterproof layer through the main drainage pipe, thus leaking to the downstairs. On the contrary, if there is no water upstairs, there will be no water leakage.

Through the investigation of the above four possible water leakage points one by one, it is found that the water leakage point may be on the manhole of the main drainage pipe. You can find the construction backup photos left during the decoration and determine the location of the manhole of the main drainage pipe. After the manhole is broken, the rubber gasket is in good condition and the water leakage point is not at the manhole. Through the backup photos, it is also found that there is a seam less than 20 cm below the inspection well. So I hit it again, and there was water on the pipe wall inside. When the joint was completely broken, I found that there was water seepage at the lower interface.

There is no change in the reconstruction of the main drainage pipeline. Pipeline leakage belongs to the scope of property maintenance, contact property maintenance.

Through the above leakage problems, the following two points for attention are summarized.

1. Before decorating the riser of main drainage pipeline, check the manhole rubber gasket and tighten it.
