According to Article 47 of the Law of People's Republic of China (PRC) on the Prevention and Control of Environmental Noise Pollution, indoor decoration activities of residential buildings that have been delivered for use should be restricted, and other effective measures should be taken to reduce and avoid environmental pollution to surrounding residents. No construction is allowed on Saturdays and Sundays, and no noisy construction such as knocking, chiseling, planing and drilling is allowed from Monday to Friday from 12 to 14 and 18 to 8 am the next day. Decoration should be carried out during office hours.
During working hours from Monday to Friday, most properties will be required to be renovated. Failure to decorate or renovate on weekends will affect neighbors.
