In the Planning Ideas and Preliminary Plan, the planning scope of Meilin International E-commerce Industrial Belt is 169.0 hectares, which is surrounded by Beihuan Avenue, Caitian Road, Mei 'ao No.8 Road, Zhongkang Road, Meihua Road and Meilin Street. Initially plan to build four industrial communities linked by e-commerce, implant humanized and diversified public services, create a green and humanistic urban environment, and provide convenient, efficient and multi-choice transportation support. It is reported that Meilin District has planned nearly 25 commercial and business office sites with a total area of 6.29 hectares. Plan to build more than 20 office buildings, science and technology creative industrial parks and creative valleys to create an eco-business district. In addition, with the relocation of Shenzhen Archives Center, Gas Building and other government facilities, the planned office space in the central and northern areas in the future will be 1 0,000 ~10.5 million square meters.

As an important transportation hub connecting Shenzhen, it supports regional development. The two-story walking system planned and built between Creative Valley, Twin Towers and Lotus Hill is a green, sightseeing and open walking system, which runs directly from Lotus Hill to the coastal area according to the central axis. Finally, it will be connected with Children's Palace and Civic Center to build the most important mountain and sea space corridor in Shenzhen. Meilin District is conveniently located, connecting CBD and Futian Port in the south and Longhua New District in the north. It plays a connecting role on the central axis of the city and is the center of the core economic circle of Guangzhou, Shenzhen and Hong Kong. Due to the slow development and backward industry in the past, the industrial level in Meilin area is low and the economic benefits are poor. To this end, Futian District will make the region into an international e-commerce industrial belt through scientific urban planning according to the actual multi-party research and promote the transformation and development of the region.

Relying on the natural location advantage and the traffic artery of Shenzhen, Meilin District naturally becomes an important urban node on the north central axis. As the first stop in the central area, it is connected to Shenzhen North Station in the north and Guangzhou, Beijing, Shanghai and other important cities in the south, and will arrive in Hong Kong within 15 minutes. According to the plan, Dannaokeshan City Forest Park will be built with high standards with the theme of ecology and urban landscape, and a new node for urban tourism will be built by making use of the special location conditions of Dannaokeshan. According to the plan, the city will focus on building the central axis of the city with a length of 25 kilometers from north to south and a width of 1-3 kilometers from east to west, build Dannaokeshan Urban Forest Park with high standards, and build landmark buildings overlooking the city on the top of the mountain.
