Changchun air quality

According to the latest monitoring data of China National Environmental Monitoring Center, in 2022, there were 336 days of excellent urban ambient air quality in Changchun, an increase of 6 days year-on-year. Among them, the first-class excellent 180 days, an increase of 10 days. The excellent and good rate was 92. 1%, an increase of 1.7 percentage points year-on-year. After 202 1 year, the urban ambient air quality in Changchun reached the best level since the monitoring record was recorded.

The monitoring data also shows that in 2022, the concentrations of six major pollutants in the urban ambient air of Changchun City fully reached the national secondary standard of ambient air quality. The comprehensive index of ambient air was 3.32, down by 0.24 year-on-year, and the excellent and good rate reached the highest value since the implementation of the new standard of ambient air quality, ranking first in the capital cities of the three northeastern provinces.

Measures to improve air quality in Changchun;

1. In recent years, Changchun has promoted the overall adjustment of energy structure, industrial structure, traffic structure and land use structure, and implemented special actions such as coal-burning pollution control, industrial pollution control, mobile pollution control, dust pollution control and straw burning ban control. In 2022, 27 coal-fired boilers (59 1 steam ton) will be eliminated. All coal-fired thermal power units above 200,000 kilowatts have achieved ultra-low emissions. Carry out the treatment of volatile organic compounds (VOCs) and complete the rectification of 34 problems.

2. With the help of video surveillance, satellite remote sensing scanning and other information means, Changchun has established a solid working system of "real-time monitoring-command and dispatch-early warning analysis-on-site disposal-tracking supervision", which has improved the supervision efficiency of straw burning ban in the whole region. Using the "Jilin No.1" high-definition satellite, the "whole process, whole chain, whole cycle" closed-loop management and intelligent control are implemented for five types of dust pollution sources, such as construction sites, demolition sites, material storage yards, exposed ground and informal garbage spots, so as to timely and accurately rectify the problem points.
