Luohuang Town is located in the southwest of Chongqing, at the end of the Three Gorges reservoir area, in the east of Jiangjin City, bordering Banan District and separated from dadukou district and Jiulongpo District by a river.

Luohuang Town covers an area of 148.5 square kilometers, with a total population of 82,000, including 40,000 non-agricultural people. Jurisdiction over 8 administrative villages and 3 community neighborhood committees.

Luohuang Town has convenient land and water transportation, about 40 kilometers away from Jiangjin and Chongqing. "Golden Waterway" runs through the whole territory from west to east, with a total length of 15.6 km.
