The factors that affect the wider application of emergency equipment in China include the public, manufacturers and the government. As far as the public is concerned, they don't know much about emergency devices. This requires the media and the government to increase the propaganda of popular science, let the public know that the emergency protection technical means to solve the elevator failure problem have appeared (non-utilitarian product propaganda), and avoid irrational behaviors such as knocking at the door when the elevator fails, causing serious consequences. As far as manufacturers are concerned, some elevator manufacturers only consider the elevator price and rarely recommend non-standard emergency devices for users, so that users simply don't know the existence and efficacy of emergency devices, which affects the promotion and use of elevator emergency devices. After the elevator is installed, the maintenance cost will be higher if the emergency device is installed, which is unacceptable to users. For the government, it should pay more attention to public safety and incorporate the installation of elevator emergency devices into the guidance or standard products as soon as possible.
