There seems to be no direct bus to Pingtan in Quanzhou.

You have to take Fuqing's bus in Quanzhou.

Then from Fuqing to Pingtan.

The bus from Fuqing to Pingtan is about 1 hour (normally there is no traffic jam).

Pingtan ferry is generally not nervous, with 2 public boats and 3 private boats.

Pingtan ferry is the kind with a car, and the fare is included in the ticket.

Basically 15~20 minutes to reach Pingtan Island.

I don't know the hotel price in Pingtan. I didn't stay in a hotel twice, but I drove back overnight, basically ranging from 100 to 200, depending on the quality of the hotel you chose.

I suggest you find a hotel as soon as you arrive in Pingtan. It is difficult to find a hotel with a room at night.
