Access cards need to be activated every year.

Access cards generally do not need to be activated every year unless the access control system is replaced or upgraded in the community. Just like the entrance guard of the unit door in our community, the entrance guard of a unit door is broken. There is no way to repair it, so we have to replace it with a new one. Then the property management company asked each household to take the access card to the property management company to upgrade and activate the access card.
