According to the global 5G terminal report released by GSA, among all 5G terminals, the multimode terminal (pan-terminal) and mobile phone of 5G are always 2: 1. First, 5G SA network. What is network slicing? End-to-end QOS, end-to-end SOP, end-to-end SLA. From the network end to the terminal, Huawei has made a Demo and successfully tested it in the project. Are the other 443 smart terminals in the 5G pan-era end-to-end? What does end-to-end mean to individual customers, home customers, robot customers and industry customers? "From our point of view, when the performance of 5G network is improved by 100 times, it is relatively difficult for smartphones to improve the performance of 100 times in a short time. There is no doubt that cloud robot will be a new typical application scenario, because at present, only the mechanical, electronic, communication and physical construction of cloud robot system is 100 times more complicated than that of intelligent terminal. Simply put, it can carry 100 times of network capacity. We need a secure private network to slice the network, and this slice needs our response. " Ge Wei believes.

Edge computing, 5G ubiquitous terminal intelligent distribution network. Double-ended network mechanism, one side is the terminal and the other side is the network. Large-scale networks send signals and access, and terminals complete all local-based calculations, storage and data distribution. But in the 5G era, the dual-end network architecture has been completely broken. The storage, calculation, distribution and control of data will not be binary structure, but ternary structure. A large amount of data will be calculated, stored, distributed, controlled, cleaned and even discarded on the platform of edge computing. How can the terminal respond well, whether to put everything on the terminal side or rely on the edge and core layer of the network to manage and distribute a large amount of data generated by each terminal? Ge Jie said that from the robot's point of view, a patrol robot generates 20 GB of data a day. If there are 10 robots in the property area, its daily data volume is 200GB. Huge data traffic and concurrent demand put great pressure on the network. How can we make this three-in-one network architecture adapt to the changes of terminals? This is the qualitative change of network performance brought by the rapid commercialization of s a at the network level. Network slicing gives us a highly reliable neural network. In fact, edge computing is not only a network, but also a cloud platform.

Second, the driving force of 5G pan-terminal convergence, AI as a service. While SA network brings revolutionary changes, there is also a very important factor, that is, artificial intelligence, such as various voice intelligence on mobile phones. The essence of artificial intelligence is for people. What is human intelligence? At least three, intelligent voice, intelligent image and intelligent action. All ubiquitous terminals in the 5G era must have these three multi-modal terminals at the same time, in order to have all artificial intelligence levels and capabilities. For robots, the network has undergone tremendous changes. The first is mobility, the second is localization, and the third is collaboration. The fourth is federalization. Ge Wei introduced that we have a lot of data in the local area. If we send data to the cloud for training, there will be many concerns and privacy issues. Even if some factories are running at full capacity, we will worry that competitors will find potential customers and create new competitive threats. Federated learning means that the model can be distributed through the cloud, and the data training is completed locally, mainly for the service of 5G artificial intelligence, which gives a great impetus to the development of pan-terminal.

Third, the pan-terminal convergence driving force, 5G message MaaP. The technical standard currently used is RCS promoted by GSMA. Why is 5G message so important? In the era of 5G, terminals can be ToC, ToB, ToH and ToG, all of which need a credible information platform. This credible information platform can not only complete information interaction, but also remotely order and maintain business relationship customers. The advantage is that you don't need to pay attention to WeChat WeChat official account, you don't need to develop customized upgrade apps, and you don't even need time-consuming post-installation or pre-installation. In all the native SMS interfaces of smart phones, it has all the functions. In fact, the ability of 5G messaging or MaaP should also become a very important driving force in the pan-terminal convergence ability in the 5G era.

Fourth, 5G pan-terminal convergence driving force, eSIM data. ESIM is an embedded SIM card, and each eSIM is an Internet portal. When eSIM is used in mobile phones or wearable devices, it is a personal data portal. When eSIM is placed on productivity devices and platforms in thousands of industries, it is an industrial Internet data portal. When there is a more reliable and credible data portal, the 5G pan-terminals in thousands of industries will be the same as those in thousands of industries.

Fifth, the 5G digital productivity platform. At present, 3.5 billion of the world's 5 billion customers are using smart phones, and there is more than 10 billion new market space. However, the purchasing power of these billions of people is very limited, and the time for changing planes is getting longer and longer. If you only focus on ToC, it is difficult to make it big. From the perspective of the 5G era, in fact, the 5G pan-terminal is a digital platform for social productive forces. We hope to further strengthen the market in different segments like our mobile phones, robots and various Internet of Things devices. A market that cannot be a market originally will become a market with commercial value because of the rapid popularization of digital technology and the rapid evolution of low cost.
