Where is Fengdong Community?

Fengdong Community is located in the lower reaches of Lianjiang River, backed by mountains and facing the sea. This is a barren community in mountainous areas. The jurisdiction covers an area of 5 square kilometers, with a total population of 10280, including agricultural population1065,438+054, non-agricultural population 134, and total households 1850. In 2009, the industrial output value was 2.64 million yuan, the agricultural output value was 5 million yuan, the collective income was 240 thousand yuan, and the per capita net income of farmers was 1969 yuan.

In the early days of liberation, Fenggang Township was collectively called Fenggang Township Farmers Association. Later, it was divided into three peasant associations, namely, one peasant association, two peasant associations and three peasant associations. Fengdong is a dichotomous peasant association. After 1955, it was changed to high-level society, namely Fengdong high-level society; 1959 changed to brigade, namely Fengdong Brigade; After 1982, it was changed to Fengdong Village; After 1989, it was changed to Fengdong Township Government. 1994 is Fengnan Neighborhood Committee of Chengnan Street. Agricultural production mainly grows rice and vegetables.
