How does a smart meter read?

1. Ordinary straight single-phase smart meters and three-phase smart meters can directly read numbers, and the last reading is subtracted, which is the electricity consumption at this stage. The incoming wire of the direct current meter is relatively thick, and it is not connected with the transformer after careful observation.

2. The three-phase ammeter is connected through a current transformer. There are 65,438+00 wires connected to the ammeter. It is necessary to observe the current ratio of the connected current transformer, which is listed on the nameplate of the current transformer. 3. Single-phase ammeter measures the quantity of three-phase electricity. The electricity reading method is directly connected to the ammeter, and the number on the ammeter is multiplied by 3. If the ammeter is connected through a transformer, you need to read the number of the ammeter multiplied by the current multiple of the transformer and then multiplied by 3.

4. Smart meters have only one LCD screen. If it is single phase, the total power and residual power will be displayed directly, which can be read directly.
