As for the specific implementation time of other scenic spots, it is still uncertain.

What are the scenic spots?

Children who visit more than 200 scenic spots in the Yangtze River Delta and are taller than the free ticket limit can still enjoy free tickets if they can produce valid documents to prove that they are under 6 years old (inclusive).

On the afternoon of June 24th, the Yangtze River Delta Consumer Protection Committee Alliance held a press conference on the results of the joint consumption survey of children in major scenic spots, proposing that the height and age of children should be taken into account in the scenic spots in the region, and received positive responses from more than 200 scenic spots enterprises such as Shanghai Tower, Shanghai Disneyland, Zhouzhuang Town, Wuxi lingshan scenic spot, Xixi Wetland, Hangzhou Oriental Cultural Park, Anhui Xidi Scenic Spot and Anhui Huangshan Scenic Spot.

The Yangtze River Delta has become the preferred destination for 62.3% consumers' parent-child travel. In order to promote the integration of regional consumption policies and the high-quality development of tourism industry, the Yangtze River Delta Consumer Protection Committee Alliance launched a joint consumption survey on the rules of free tickets for children in major scenic spots on June 1.

The survey results show that there are great differences in the rules of free tickets for children in different types of scenic spots in the Yangtze River Delta. In order to ensure the efficiency of traffic, most scenic spots take the height of children as the free ticket standard, only 6.2% of scenic spots consider both height and age, and foreign scenic spots basically take age as the standard. With the development of economy and society, it is more and more common for children of the same age to grow very tall, which has caused a lot of consumer disputes. Taking height as a single standard for children's free tickets is no longer in line with the growth law of minors.

In order to listen to consumers' opinions and suggestions on children's free tickets in scenic spots, members of the alliance conducted an online consumer survey simultaneously.

According to the survey, 22.5% of consumers said that the rules of free tickets for children in scenic spots were not clear enough. 9.3% of consumers said that the rules of free tickets are quite different; 50. 1% consumers said that the free ticket limit was not in line with the actual situation. At the same time, 27.6% of consumers think that the children's free ticket rule should be based on age, and 63.9% of consumers think that they can be free of charge if their height and age meet one. Considering age and height has been recognized by most consumers.

On the basis of listening to consumers' voices and experts' suggestions, the Yangtze River Delta Consumer Protection Committee Alliance called for more scientific and reasonable rules for children's free tickets. Attractions should take both height and age into account. In addition to setting a height-free standard, an age-free standard should also be added. When a child's height exceeds the free ticket limit, but does not reach the age limit, he can show the original valid certificate of the child (the relevant rules are independently formulated by the scenic spot enterprises according to the actual situation) or enjoy free tickets.

This joint consumption survey on optimizing children's free ticket rules is the first practice of the Yangtze River Delta Consumer Protection Committee Alliance, which is conducive to improving service quality, improving consumption environment, stimulating consumption potential, attracting more consumers to choose to travel to the Yangtze River Delta, and accelerating the high-quality development of tourism in the Yangtze River Delta region.

Ju Shang, deputy secretary-general of Jiangsu Consumer Protection Committee, said that while advocating the implementation of market-adjusted prices in scenic spots, he will also conduct interviews with scenic spots priced by the government.
