Southern Medical University, formerly known as the First Military Medical University of the Chinese People's Liberation Army, is a provincial-level key university of "2 1 1 Project" in Guangdong Province, a pilot university of "Excellent Doctor Education and Training Program" of the Ministry of Education, and a first-class garden-style college in Guangdong Province.
