Platform setting of cross-platform transfer station

See: Mid-term Review

Hong Kong Railway is one of the busiest and most crowded urban railway systems in the world. Therefore, it is more widely used in the transfer design of the same platform than in other cities, and it is used in a large number of stations to save passengers' time and walking distance when transferring to trains and increase the operating efficiency of the system.

In addition to the double transfer group mentioned above, an example of a forward transfer station is Lijing Station, which can handle four kinds of transfer services in the same direction and on the same platform. Passengers who use the other four reverse transfer modes need to get off the platform and walk to another island platform through the stairs to transfer. There is also North Point Station, and the platform of Hong Kong Island Line and the platform of Tseung Kwan O Line are connected by channels.

In the opposite direction, there are admiralty station, Nanchang Station and the planned exhibition station. See: Taipei MRT.

The design of cross-platform transfer of Taipei MRT started at the design stage of 1980, and the organizing committee hired BMTC and China Consulting Engineering Department to form a planning team to design. Among them, some BMTC employees are British engineers who participated in the design of the Hong Kong subway. Therefore, Taipei MRT has added the same platform transfer design as Hong Kong, replacing the original moving lines where some transfer stations have to go up and down floors and walk.

After completion, * * * built four transfer stations on the same platform. Unlike the twin transfer group composed of two stations, the MRT is a "triangular transfer group" composed of three adjacent stations-Chiang Kai-shek Memorial Hall Station, Gu Ting Station and Dongmen Station. Ximen Station is the fourth transfer station besides this transfer group.

Dongmen Station is the interchange station between the Orange Line and the Red Line. BMTC originally planned another transfer station for the Orange Line and the Red Line-Quan Min West Road Station, which was also designed for cross-platform transfer. Later, it was cancelled when it was actually completed, indicating that the transfer service on the same platform of Taipei MRT would not form a twin transfer group. See: Beijing subway

Guogongzhuang Station, National Library Station, Zhuxinzhuang Station and Beijing West Railway Station are two island four-line interchange stations, and Nanluoguxiang Station is a side-by-side platform connected by passages. See: Nanjing Metro.

1 Line and Line 3 are two-island underground stations with a total construction area of 52,966 m? The underground floor is the station hall floor, and the underground floor is the platform floor. Nanjing Metro 1 Line and Nanjing Metro Line 3 transfer on the same platform at the basement level. See Shanghai Rail Transit.

Shanghai rail transit system Pudong New Area Oriental Sports Center Station is the first station in Shanghai to adopt this transfer design. For Shanghai Rail Transit Line 6 and Shanghai Rail Transit Line 1 1 to transfer at the same platform. See: Guangzhou Metro.

In Guangzhou subway system, Jiahe Wanggang Station is also a cross-platform transfer station design. This station is the interchange station between the north extension section of Guangzhou Metro Line 2 and Guangzhou Metro Line 3. In addition to Shayuan Station of Guangzhou Metro Line 8, the island overlapping cross-platform design is also adopted, and the corresponding platform is reserved for the transfer between Guangzhou Metro Line 8 and Guangfo Line. There will be Rainbow Bridge Station and Tianhe Park Station in the future. See: Shenzhen Metro.

Laojie Station and Huangbeiling Station of Shenzhen subway system are also designed as cross-platform interchange stations, but neither station has formed twins. Laojie Station used to be a side-stacked platform. After the opening of Shenzhen Metro Line 3, the stacked platform on the south side of Shenzhen Metro 1 Line was closed, and the island platform was built on the north side, forming an island stacked platform. See: Chengdu Metro and Xipu Station.

Transfer at Xipu Station in Chengdu on the same platform. The middle double-track railway is Chengdu Metro Line 2 under Chengdu Metro, and the double-track railways on both sides are Chengdu-Guancheng Railway under China Railway. This is the first transfer between urban rail transit and national railway in China.

Chengdu Metro Line 2 is operated by Chengdu Metro, and it is transferred to Guo Tiecheng Guan Railway on the same platform at Xipu Station. This is the first case in China where urban rail transit and national railway transfer on the same platform. See: Wuhan Metro.

In Wuhan subway system, it is very common to transfer from platform to station. Due to the forward-looking design, there are five such sites in the system. Hongshan Square Station and Zhongnan Road Station of Wuhan Metro Line 2 and Wuhan Metro Line 4 are both "cross-platform transfer stations" and can be "continuously transferred on the same platform". In order to facilitate the transfer between the two lines in the direction of departure and return, these two stations are designed to transfer in the direction of departure and the other station is designed to transfer in the direction of return. The transfer mode is similar to that of Kwun Tong Line, Prince Edward Station and Mong Kok Station of Tsuen Wan Line.

For example, if you come from Hankou on Line 2, you can change to Wuchang Railway Station on Line 4 and cross the platform at Zhongnan Road, while you can change to Wuhan Railway Station on Line 4 and cross the platform at Hongshan Square. That is Hankou Railway Station-Zhongnan Road-Wuchang Railway Station (the reverse is also transferred at this station, the same below), Optics Valley-Zhongnan Road-Wuhan Railway Station, Hankou Railway Station-Hongshan Square Station-Wuhan Railway Station, Optics Valley-Hongshan Square Station-Wuchang Railway Station.

In addition to Hongshan Square and Zhongnan Road, there are continuous transfer stations on the same platform. Hongtu Avenue Station, Zhongjiacun Station and Hong Kong Road Station all adopted this transfer form. See: Singapore Metro.

In addition to the double-deck island platform of the Government Building Station and raffles city Station, Jurong East Station has also built two island platforms, both of which are interchange platforms for the North-South Line and the East-West Line.

Dhanamara Station is a purely east-west line station, but there are two modes of operation in the east-west line, namely, the main line train and the Changi Airport branch line train, which provide cross-platform transfer.

Haiwanfang Station is the same transfer station for the Ring Line and Binhai Urban Line. See: Tokyo Metro.

In the same platform interchange station of Tokyo Metro, Akasaka See Attached Station provides the same platform forward interchange between ginza line and Marunouchi Line through two-story island platform, with the upper platform heading for Shinjuku, Diva/Shibuya and the lower platform heading for Ginza, Ueno and Asakusa/Ikebukuro.

Two horizontally juxtaposed island platforms are set at Biyou Station (ginza line and Banzangmen Line) and Baijin Gaolun Station (North-South Line and Tianmi Line) to facilitate passengers to transfer here. See: Otomachi Station

Daguo Road Station (Yutang Line and Siqiao Line) is an island platform, and the two platforms are parallel, which is convenient for passengers to transfer here. See: Siam Station

Siam station of Bangkok's mass transit system (? ) is an elevated interchange station on the same platform, which provides interchange on the same platform in the same direction for long lines and Su-Kun-Yi lines. See: London Underground.

Among the stations in the London Underground, Oxford Square and Baker Street, the two main stations on the Bei Chedjou Line, are equipped with a mechanism that allows passengers to transfer in parallel on the same platform. The former can transfer at the same platform in the same direction as Victoria Line, and the latter can transfer at the island platform in parallel with Jubilee Line. There is no cross-platform parallel transfer design for other lines in these two stations.

Finchley Road also connects the subway line and Jubilee Line with the platform plane of the island; At Mile End, the regional line, the Hammersmith line and the city line running on the * * * line are connected with the central line by crossing the platform. See Stockholm Metro.

In the Stockholm subway, the feasible stations for cross-platform transfer are T-Centralen, Gamla stan and Slussen, which are all transfer stations between the red line and the green line and are adjacent to each other. Among them, the subway central station platform provides reverse transfer service, while the latter two have forward transfer platforms.

In addition, at Ahlvik Station, there is a plane transfer platform between the subway green line and the light rail of Nockebybanan Road, so this station has become one of the important suburban transfer stations in the west of Stockholm. See: Moscow subway.

In Moscow Metro, the following stations have the same platform transfer design: Wall City Station (китакгород) crosses the platform between Line 6 and Line 7 (тре) and transfers to Tretyy. Line 4 can only transfer with the northbound train of Line 3 across the platform. It is feasible for Kaasila Station (каширская) to transfer across platforms between Line 2 and Line 1 1. In addition, Line 3 will meet the extension line of Line 8 in the future. See: new york Subway, Long Island Railway.

Many lines of new york Metro have adopted the design of four-line railway (or three-line), and various operation modes can be operated on the same line. Therefore, many transfers on the same platform in new york are cross-platform transfer services provided between the express train (through train) and the local train (whole station) on the same route. Usually, the outer rail runs slowly, and the middle rail enables the express train to pass through the ordinary station without stopping. An island platform will be set between the two rails to facilitate the passengers in the fast and slow workshops to transfer.

In addition, some routes with different colors also have the same transfer station to connect with each other. For example, the platform in Queens Square provides a forward transfer service between IRT Flushing Line (Line 7) and BMT(N Line N and Q. Hoyt-Schermerhorn Streets, located in Brooklyn, is the same transfer station for the IND cross-district line (G line) and the IND Fulton Street line (A line and C line).

In addition, the Lexington Avenue-63rd Street Station, which is only a side-stacked platform at present, will reserve space in the future because of the new Second Avenue Line of new york Metro, so as to facilitate the conversion to the same transfer station in the future.

There are many kinds of cars parked at Jamaica Station of Long Island Railway. In busy hours, the time required for cross-platform transfer can even be greatly shortened, because the horizontal transfer line between trains can directly cross the trains parked on the central track with doors open on both sides. See: Montreal subway.

There are two transfer stations on the same platform in Montreal Metro: Liana Gru Station (between 1 line and Line 2) and Nuodong Station (between Line 2 and Line 5).
