National standard for elevator life

Elevator belongs to special equipment, and the national laws have no special provisions on the specific service life of elevator. Relevant regulations of local government departments, such as Regulations on Service Life Management of Residential Elevator (Beijing) and Measures for Safety Supervision and Management of Elevator in Henan Province, generally require the service life of elevator to be between 15 ~ 18, and the specific use should be appraised by professional departments.

According to the 70-year property right of the elevator room, a house generally needs to replace the elevator three times. After the elevator installation and acceptance, the elevator should be inspected every year to see if it meets the use conditions. After the elevator is used 15 years, it should be inspected twice a year. Those that do not meet the inspection standards should be rectified, and those that do not meet the inspection requirements should be replaced with new elevators.

The use fee of the elevator, which usually includes the use fee (generally included in the property fee), annual inspection fee and maintenance premium. Under the professional maintenance, elevators generally only need to replace some wearing parts in the first ten years according to the use situation.

Generally, elevators in ten to fifteen years need an overhaul process, and elevator wire ropes, traction wheels, electronic components and other accessories need to be replaced. After 15, the ladder will be upgraded or replaced according to the usage.

Matters needing attention in elevator use

2. Don't block the elevator door: When the elevator door is about to close, don't rush into the elevator forcibly to prevent the elevator from closing, and don't have one foot inside and one foot outside, which will hurt you.

3. Don't just press panic button: panic button was set up to deal with emergencies. When the elevator is running normally, do not press panic button.

4. Operation without opening the door: When taking the elevator, if the elevator door is not closed, there is something wrong with the elevator. Passengers should not ride, and report to the maintenance personnel.

5. Don't take the elevator under maintenance: Before coming to the elevator, passengers should first check whether there is a sign "Elevator Stop Maintenance". If the elevator is under maintenance, this sign should be hoisted and passengers are not allowed to ride.
