1, different classes:

It was not until he was in his forties that he became an academician on the recommendation of Princess Zhen, and Wang Wei came to Chang 'an when he was young. At the age of eighteen, he was already a guest of Wang Fu, and at the age of thirty, he was already the top scholar. Apart from poetry, they don't have the same language in officialdom.

2. Different hobbies:

Li Bai likes drinking and fencing. When he was young, he liked to travel and make friends. Wang Wei likes painting and music. He makes friends with his grandchildren. One loves martial arts, the other loves art, and they have different interests and different circle of friends, so they can't play together.

There are Li Bai, Zhang Xu, Li and Cui Zongzhi attending the drinking party organized by the Prime Minister, but there is no Wang Wei. Zhang Jiuling, the prime minister, organized an outing for Wang Wei, Wang Zhihuan and Wang Changling without Li Bai.

Wang Wei believes in Buddhism and is called Shi Fo. In his later years, he lived a semi-spiritual and semi-reclusive life. Taoism advocates that a person must go through layers of tests and checkpoints to become immortal, while Buddhism believes that everyone has Buddha nature and anyone can become a Buddha. Therefore, opposing worldviews are lovers even if they want to come together.

Li Bai is cheerful and generous, loves to drink and write poems, and likes to make friends. He was deeply influenced by Huang Lao's thought of starting a family. Li Taibai was handed down from generation to generation, and most of his poems were written when he was drunk.
