Fancun is located in the west of Foshan Avenue and the north of Qi Kui Road, with convenient transportation and superior geographical conditions. The village covers a total area of 0.7 square kilometers, and has jurisdiction over 3 villagers' groups with 680 households, with a total population of 20 10, 70 in party member and nearly 5,000 migrants.

Since the reform and opening up, Fancun has made great efforts to develop the economy in the spirit of "unity and pragmatism, pioneering and enterprising", and has successively established a number of private enterprises focusing on building ceramics, metal molds and plastic products. However, with the continuous development of the economy, most of the existing collective property has low standards and poor benefits, and the development space is seriously restricted. In recent years, my village has seized the opportunity of Foshan's administrative division adjustment, especially the three-year action plan of urban upgrading, intensified the transformation of "three old", actively utilized land resources, and vigorously developed the tertiary industry such as property and rental. In recent years, it has successfully promoted a number of upgrading projects, greatly improving the living environment and the quality and income of collective property. Sheng Nan Xinduhe Village Apartment Project and Xinhua Art Decoration Material Logistics City Phase I have been built one after another. At present, the first phase of Xinhua Art Decoration Material Logistics City covers an operating area of over 70,000 square meters, with a complete range of decoration materials, including bathroom, floor, hardware, lighting and building materials. At present, the second phase of the project is still under construction. It is estimated that the total construction area of Xinhua Art will exceed 300,000 square meters after completion.

With the acceleration of urban construction, the level of rural urbanization has been continuously improved. First, rural public facilities and infrastructure are improving day by day; There are schools, kindergartens, sports fields and activity centers for the elderly in the village, public facilities and infrastructure are increasingly strengthened, and convenient transportation and communication networks have been established between urban and rural areas; Second, actively optimize the management of "village in city" and gradually develop into a property management community with beautiful environment, complete facilities and standardized management; Third, the administrative service center of Fancun was set up on 20 1 1 to concentrate external services and try to "do things without leaving the village", which facilitated the lives of villagers. At present, all eligible villagers in the village have participated in rural cooperative medical care and retirement pension insurance.

Lotus birthday is a folk activity in Fancun with a history of 100 years. According to legend, the Lotus Empress is three sisters. They are industrious and beautiful, and have done a lot of good things for the villagers, so the lotus maiden has become an idol that the villagers sincerely believe in. In order to be grateful for the protection of the Lotus Empress and pray for protection, there is an annual "Lotus Protection". Every year, April 13th of the lunar calendar is designated as "Huahua's birthday", so the master is invited to open the altar to chant Buddhist scriptures, and the villagers dance with lions to celebrate, and every family is vegetarian. This event has been a statute of Fancun since ancient times.

Near Fancun, there are Shiwan ceramics museum, Shiwan Pedestrian Street, Shiwan Park, Shiwan Taoist Temple, Hedang Ruins, 1506 Creative City and other tourist attractions. There are Shiwan dolls, Shiwan ceramics, Shiwan rice wine, Shiwan fish curd, Foshan Xiangyun yarn and other specialties.
