The contractor shall purchase qualified elevators manufactured by units that have obtained the qualification of manufacturing license. The installation of the elevator shall be carried out by the elevator manufacturing unit or its entrusted unit that has obtained the corresponding license according to law. After installing the elevator, the new area belongs to all owners within the installation scope, and there is no need to go through the formalities of land occupation and real estate registration. The land price is not levied for the increased plot ratio, and the related administrative fees such as supporting fees for urban infrastructure are exempted.

Legal basis: Article 22 of the Law of the People's Republic of China on the Safety of Special Equipment stipulates that the installation, renovation and maintenance of elevators must be carried out by elevator manufacturing units or units entrusted by them that have obtained corresponding licenses in accordance with this Law. Where an elevator manufacturing unit entrusts other units to install, renovate and maintain elevators, it shall conduct safety guidance and monitoring on their installation, renovation and maintenance, and conduct calibration and debugging according to the requirements of safety technical specifications.
