It is illegal to cut down trees in the community.

No individual or unit may destroy trees, flowers and greening, and the trees in the community belong to public greening and have no right to cut them down at will. If trees do hinder residents' lives or have potential safety hazards, the property can be cut down after reporting to the relevant departments.

Community public facilities are as follows:

1. Educational facilities: nurseries, kindergartens, primary schools, middle schools, etc.

2. Medical and health facilities: health stations, outpatient clinics in residential areas, hospitals, etc.

3. Cultural and sports facilities: comprehensive cultural activity center, gateball court, stadium, etc.

4. Commercial service facilities: comprehensive food shopping malls, comprehensive department stores, comprehensive service buildings, bazaars, bookstores, Chinese medicine shops, comprehensive convenience stores, comprehensive grain and oil stores and other tertiary industry facilities;

Cutting down urban trees must be approved by the administrative department of urban greening of the people's government of the city, and replanting trees or taking other remedial measures in accordance with the relevant provisions of the state.

Article 22

Urban green space management units shall establish and improve the management system, and keep the trees and flowers lush and green facilities intact.

Article 23

In order to ensure the safe use of pipelines, tree pruning should be carried out in accordance with the principle of giving consideration to the safe use of pipelines and the normal growth of trees. Measures to bear the cost of pruning shall be formulated by the municipal people's government.

When the inclination of trees endangers the safety of pipelines due to force majeure, the pipeline management unit may straighten or cut down trees first, but it shall report to the administrative department of urban greening of the people's government of the city and the green space management unit in time.
