What are the Yunnan Police Academy?

Yunnan police schools include: Yunnan Judicial Police Vocational College, Yunnan Police College, Zhaotong People's Police School, Chuxiong People's Police School, Honghe People's Police School and other schools.

Yunnan Judicial Police Vocational College is a full-time people's police vocational college of politics and law. Led by the Provincial Department of Justice and managed by the Provincial Prison Administration, it is a deputy department-level unit. Yunnan Vocational College of Judicial Police Officers was established in April 1980, named "Rotation Training Class for Reform-through-Labor Cadres". 1After the promulgation and implementation of the Prison Law of People's Republic of China (PRC) in February, 1994, the "Yunnan Police School of Labor Reform" was renamed as "Yunnan Judicial Police School" in September.

Yunnan Police Officer College was founded in April at 1950 (formerly Yunnan Public Security College). After China People's Liberation Army Kunming Military Region Management Committee Public Security School, Yunnan Provincial People's Government Public Security School, Yunnan Provincial Political and Legal Cadre School, Yunnan Political College, Yunnan Provincial Public Security School, Yunnan Provincial People's Police School and Yunnan Public Security College and other historical periods. 1978 started secondary school education, 1984 started junior college education, and was upgraded to an undergraduate college in April 2003.
