Wuchuan Culture and Zhanjiang Economic Construction

"Like the strong wind in spring, it blows at night and blows open the petals of ten thousand pear trees". In the past 30 years of reform and opening up, my hometown Wuchuan, like the whole country, has undergone profound changes and made great progress in politics, economy, culture, society and other fields. Among them, Wuchuan culture is a bright spot, shining everywhere.

One of the Cultural Highlights-Celebrity Effect

Wuchuan has a long history and outstanding people. Among the historical figures, there is Lin Zhaotang, the only champion in western Guangdong who is enterprising, rigorous, kind and upright; China's first ambassador to the United States, Chen Lanbin; Lin Huailan, regardless of difficulties and personal safety, was the first to introduce sweet potatoes to China; There are ten witty figures in China, Mai Weiyi; Patriots such as General Zhang Yan and General Li Hanhun have made outstanding contributions to serving the country and the nation, actively resisting Japan, safeguarding national sovereignty and territorial integrity, and defeating the Japanese aggressors. They have their own personalities and ambitions, and what they have in common is patriotism, love for the people and love for home. Their glorious career, immortal life and lofty demeanor, like a kind of firewood, were passed on to the descendants of Wuchuan, forming the spirit of Wuchuan people. Nowadays, Wuchuan people have made miracles all over the country, such as Zhang Ying, Li Zhen, Chen Hua, Lin Shangguan, Long, Long Qingtang, Ning Yongjie, Chen Deng, Chen, Li Ruohuai and Cao. Dare to be the first in the world. In the wave of reform and opening-up, they dare to work hard, are good at starting businesses, are willing to contribute, and do not forget to invest in poverty alleviation in their hometown. No matter where you are, no matter how busy you are at work, try to "go home often". This is the celebrity effect, this is the spirit of Wuchuan people.

The second highlight of culture-Wuchuan folk art

Wuchuan folk art is rich and colorful. Wuchuan people have a long-standing habit of loving folk art. As early as the Jin Dynasty, Wuchuan people had the custom of playing "Wei Zi" and "dancing six generals" to ward off evil spirits and pray for blessings. In the Tang and Song Dynasties, there were performances such as "Fan Shi", "Clay Fighter", "Playing the Pottery Drum" and "Dancing the Two Empires", and in the Ming and Qing Dynasties, there were also "Lion Dance" and "Dragon Dance". Today, there are more "Song of Two People Turning to Mountains and Waters", "Playing Wooden Fish", "Private Bureau of Quyi", "Electric Colored Sculpture", "Dancing on the Ocean" and "Flower Pagoda", which have condensed the painstaking efforts of countless artists throughout the ages and experienced the baptism of the times. In today's reform and opening up, it is more and more unique and unique. Among them, the "three wonders" of traditional folk art-floating color, clay sculpture and flower bridge, are famous for their exquisiteness, ingenuity and strangeness. 1996, Meilan was named "the hometown of ethnic and folk arts in Guangdong Province" by the Guangdong Provincial Department of Culture. In 2000, the Ministry of Culture named Meilan as the "Hometown of Chinese Folk Art (Gone with the Wind and Clay Sculpture)", and the Guangdong Provincial Department of Culture named Huang Po Town as the "Hometown of Guangdong Folk Art (Gone with the Wind)". Da 'an Village in Huang Po Town is as follows. In May 2006, Guangdong Provincial People's Government listed "Wuchuan Piaose" as the first batch of provincial intangible cultural heritage. In 2007, Wu Chuanpiao was listed in the "Second Batch of National Intangible Cultural Heritage List", and Wu Chuan clay sculpture was listed in the "Guangdong Intangible Cultural Heritage List" in June 2007.

Wuchuan is famous for its floating colors, and CCTV broadcasted the feature film Guangdong Three Musts (Floating Colors, Clay Sculpture and Flower Bridge) three times at home and abroad. In order to make full use of Wuchuan clay sculpture, a rich traditional cultural resource, the municipal government built Wuchuan Folk Sculpture Park on February 6, 2006. Pan He, a famous Chinese sculpture artist and deputy director of the National Sculpture Art Committee, wrote an inscription for the sculpture garden: "Wuchuan Folk Sculpture Garden". The third highlight of culture-the art of Cantonese Opera in Wuchuan South School

Wuchuan's southern Cantonese opera art is related to Wuchuan Cantonese Opera Troupe. Wuchuan Cantonese Opera Troupe, formerly known as Wuchuan Guangyi Cantonese Opera Troupe, was founded in 1953. 1967 to 1978 During the Cultural Revolution, it was renamed as "Wuchuan Mao Zedong Thought Propaganda Team", and it was only rehearsing revolutionary modern model operas such as Shajiabang. After the reform and opening up, a hundred schools of thought contended, and the traditional costume Cantonese opera was restored. 1979, "Wuchuan Mao Zedong Thought Propaganda Team" was renamed as "Wuchuan Cantonese Opera Troupe". Under the leadership of Lin Guoguang, the artistic successor of the "Southern School" of Cantonese Opera, the troupe inherited the tradition, learned from others, and innovated and created an artistic performance style that was rough and bold, simple and vigorous, gentle and feminine. Singing, doing, reading and playing Wushu are unique, so they are traditional. Tian Han, a famous dramatist in China and chairman of the Chinese Dramatists Association, watched the performance of "Soubao Mirror" by the troupe and was amazed at its wonderful performance. Guangdong Provincial Department of Culture attaches great importance to Wuchuan Troupe's long-standing "Southern School Art" performance. In 2003, with the approval of Yue [2003] No.43, Wuchuan Troupe was formally established as "Southern School Art".

In 2002 and 2007, Wuchuan Cantonese Opera Troupe was invited to perform in Hong Kong and Macau respectively. On July 16, 2006, the Ministry of Culture of China entrusted the Central Academy of Drama, the Guangdong Provincial Department of Culture and CCTV to come to our city to shoot wonderful ostentation videos such as Killing Wife, Showing Loyalty and Chaos House performed by Wuchuan Cantonese Opera Troupe, and declared Cantonese Opera as a world intangible cultural heritage in Guangdong, Hong Kong and Macao on behalf of Cantonese opera art. June, 2008 13 to 20, at the invitation of Singapore Chinatown People's Drama Fund, he performed nine performances in a row, with an unprecedented attendance rate. Wuchuan Cantonese Opera Troupe has won wide acclaim from Singapore's art world. The Organizing Committee of Singapore International Arts Festival awarded Wuchuan Cantonese Opera Troupe the plaque of "Southern Guangdong Opera, Shining Lion City", and foreign media reported the artistic performance of Wuchuan Cantonese Opera Troupe in detail. The Southern School of Cantonese Opera has become a resounding brand of Wuchuan, enjoying a good reputation at home and abroad.

The fourth highlight of culture-Wuchuan Year Example

Wuchuan people have always had the custom of making "annual rules". Especially since the reform and opening up, with the improvement of people's living standards, the "annual regulations" in various places have intensified, such as inviting famous halls, holding ball games, setting off fireworks, holding calligraphy and painting exhibitions, poetry and painting exhibitions, etc. The feast of "Eating Year" is getting richer and richer, and the more people eat Year, the more proud they are. There is a saying in Wuchuan that "it is better to be an annual model", which shows the attraction of "annual model". The most influential thing is that 100 more than 30 acrobatic troupes from Guangdong and Guangxi stopped in Wuchuan.

Mei Lan's "Year of the Month" and "God of Wealth" traveled on the fourteenth day of the first month, visited Huaqiao on the fifteenth day, and made a parade on the sixteenth day. Streets and alleys are decorated with colorful lights, red and green, shining and charming lights, colorful flags fluttering in the wind, majestic archways, multi-storey flower pagodas, resplendent flower bridges, lifelike clay sculptures and different styles of calligraphy and painting photography exhibitions, which dazzle visitors. On the 16th and 17th of the first month, a procession composed of Meiling, Poxinling, Caiyuan, Tengpo, Wayao, Meilutou, Huangzhuwei and other communities in Meilong Street marched in great numbers.
