Which province is Qidong?

Qidong City is a county-level city in Jiangsu Province, managed by Nantong City, located on the north side of the Yangtze River estuary, surrounded by water on three sides and shaped like a peninsula. It is an important gateway to the rivers and seas, and also the earliest place for sunrise in Jiangsu.

Qidong is located at the easternmost tip of Jiangbei mainland. Because the sandbar extends eastward, it is named "Dongjiang River in Wu Kai". Qidong is a river and marine sedimentary plain in different periods of the Yangtze River estuary. Before the Han dynasty, it was the estuary waters. In the early Tang Dynasty, Dongzhou and Buzhou rose in the Yangtze River estuary.
