The Development Course of Smart City

2065438+On August 29th, 2004, with the consent of the State Council, eight ministries and commissions, including the National Development and Reform Commission, Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, Ministry of Science and Technology, Ministry of Public Security, Ministry of Finance, Ministry of Land and Resources, Ministry of Housing and Urban-Rural Development and Ministry of Communications, issued the Guiding Opinions on Promoting the Healthy Development of Smart Cities, requiring all regions and relevant departments to implement the tasks set forth in the Guiding Opinions to ensure the healthy and orderly progress of smart city construction.

The opinion puts forward that by 2020, a number of smart cities with distinctive characteristics will be built, the role of agglomeration and radiation will be greatly enhanced, the comprehensive competitive advantage will be significantly improved, and remarkable results will be achieved in safeguarding and improving people's livelihood services, innovating social management and maintaining network security. National "Smart City" Technology and Standards Pilot City ("Smart City" Double Pilot)

The Ministry of Science and Technology and the National Standardization Administration Committee identified it as a national "smart city" technology and standard pilot city. The first batch of pilot projects selected 20 cities in China, including 9 sub-provincial cities. Two cities in Shandong Province were selected, namely Jinan and Qingdao, and the remaining 18 cities were Nanjing, Wuxi, Yangzhou, Taiyuan, Yangquan, Dalian, Harbin, Daqing, Hefei, Wuhan, xiangyang, Shenzhen, Huizhou, Chengdu, Xi 'an, Yan 'an, Yangling Demonstration Zone and Karamay.

As the deep expansion and integrated application of information technology, smart city is one of the important directions for the new generation of information technology to breed breakthroughs, and also an important part of the development of global strategic emerging industries. The pilot project of "Smart City" technology and standards is a demonstration work jointly carried out by the Ministry of Science and Technology and the National Standards Committee, aiming at promoting the healthy and orderly development of smart city construction in China and promoting the popularization and application of China's independent innovation achievements in smart cities. It aims to form a smart city technology and standard system and solutions with independent intellectual property rights in China, and provide scientific and technological support for the construction of smart cities in China.

Changzhou added a new northern district in the pilot project.

Caidian district was added to the pilot project in Wuhan, and 20 12 in Jiang 'an District was included in the pilot project.

Shenyang: Shenhe District, Tiexi District and Shenbei New District were added, and Hunnan New District 20 12 was approved.

Nanjing: Gaochun District and Qilin Science and Technology Innovation Park (Ecological Science and Technology City) were added, and Hexi New City (jianye district) 20 12 was approved.

Changsha Dahexi Pilot Area: Yanghu Ecological New City and Binjiang Business New City will be added, and Meixi Lake Area will be included in the 20 12 pilot project.

Foshan City: Newly added Nanhai District. 20 12 the first batch of national smart cities (90) in Shunde district and lecong town of Shunde district have been approved.

With the influx of most people in the world into urban areas, key urban systems such as water, electricity and transportation have been overwhelmed and almost collapsed. For urban residents, the basic elements of a smart city are: easy to find the fastest commuting route, guaranteed water supply and power supply, and safer streets. Nowadays, consumers are more and more dominant. They hope that while the city is burdened with population inflow and economic growth, their requirements for quality of life can be met.

Recently, the International Business Machines Corporation (IBM) "Smart City" conference was held in Chengdu. The conference announced IBM's concept of "smart city" and the smart software solution of 12 city. "Wisdom" is the strategy of "cleverness". In Shanghai, Guangdong, Nanjing, Shenyang and Kunshan, local people's governments signed memorandums of cooperation to jointly launch the "smart city" strategy. Chengdu municipal government plans to build development cooperation and related grand blueprint into digital Chengdu, and help the government to build and promote the establishment of information network system more efficiently through "intelligent" software solutions.
