Article 2 The term "social security card" as mentioned in these Measures refers to an integrated circuit card issued to the public and mainly used for government social management and public services in the fields of human resources and social security.
The social security card is the electronic certificate for cardholders to enjoy social security and public employment services. It has the basic functions of information recording, information inquiry and business handling.
Article 6 The areas where social security cards are issued (hereinafter referred to as card-issuing areas) shall establish standardized human resources and social security business processes with strong comprehensive coordination among businesses, so as to ensure the effective application of social security cards. At the same time, it shall also meet the following technical conditions:
(a) to establish a business management system, database and information network suitable for the use of social security cards;
