The Regulations of Chongqing Municipality on Domestic Waste Management will come into force on March 1 2022. The regulations require that all units, families and individuals that produce domestic garbage should fulfill the obligation of reducing the source of domestic garbage and putting it in different categories according to law, and divide the domestic garbage in our city into four categories: recyclables, harmful waste, kitchen garbage and other garbage. Individuals who fail to put domestic garbage into the designated place shall be ordered by the urban management department to make corrections; Those who violate the delivery regulations for many times or have other serious circumstances shall be fined 100 yuan but not more than 300 yuan. The "Regulations" established the system of management responsible person, and made it clear that the property service enterprises in residential quarters were management responsible persons; If the person in charge of management cannot be determined, the person in charge of management shall be determined by the local sub-district office and the Township People's Government, and publicized to the responsible area. Domestic waste classification is a systematic project. At present, most citizens have formed the habit of dumping garbage in concentrated places, but it still needs further regulation and guidance.

According to the new regulations, if the domestic garbage is not classified as required, the maximum fine can be imposed on 300 yuan. In order to strengthen the shocking effect of law enforcement, and constantly improve the standardization level of garbage classification, the detachment made precise efforts, closely linked with functional responsibilities and actual work, and made great efforts to promote the study, publicity and implementation and law enforcement management.

According to the official implementation of the regulations, the urban management law enforcement detachment selected the provisions of laws and regulations and compiled more than 2,000 excerpts from the Regulations on the Management of Domestic Waste in Chongqing. All the team members were also trained in the law enforcement of domestic waste classification management to ensure the smooth implementation of compulsory waste classification. And around the domestic waste sorting facilities and equipment, 28 sets of sorting garbage bins were added in public areas and offices, and special personnel were arranged to strengthen the sorting application and daily management.
